Aerial Armor and Observation Without Limits (O.W.L.), a Dynetics company, are excited to announce a partnership to integrate OWL’s GroundAware® radar surveillance data into Aerial Armor’s drone detection solutions.  Aerial Armor is an integrator and service provider for drone detection technology in the U.S., and O.W.L. is a manufacturer of radar-based surveillance solutions for critical infrastructure protection and drone detection and mitigation.

By collaborating on innovative solutions, O.W.L. and Aerial Armor will provide a layered security approach to combat the growing threat of unauthorized drone intrusions. Aerial Armor’s software will now include OWL radar detection data inside its interface and with real-time verification and detailed information about potential threats, both in the air and on the ground. The two companies have worked extensively with security professionals to protect critical infrastructure and have seen firsthand the impact that drones can have on public safety.

“O.W.L. is building partnerships to fill out a portfolio of UAS awareness and counter-UAS solutions to meet a range of customer requirements,” said Mike Stokes, OWL president. “Working with Aerial Armor provides another great integrated capability to serve our customers. We are pleased to be considered as both a long- and short-range radar option for Aerial Armor’s customers.”

As pioneers in this industry, Aerial Armor has also created the first nationwide database of drone activity to investigate and analyze critical incidents across the US. O.W.L.’s radar technology will help grow that database.

“We take pride in our experience and knowledge in this market and are excited to partner with the OWL team, said Brandon Lugo, Aerial Armor Director of Operations. “We look forward to integrating O.W.L.’s radar into our security solutions for drone intrusions and expand our portfolio for our customers.”
